Summary
Eleni Katirtzoglou received her PhD degree in Mathematics in 1996 from the University of
Memphis and her MSc degree in European Political Economy in 2005 from the
London School of Economics.
During the years 1996-2000 she was a research fellow in the Basic Research Institute
in the Mathematical Sciences (BRIMS) at Hewlett-Packard Labs, Bristol and in the Department
of Control Optimisation and
Stochastics at Delft University of Technology.
Her current academic focus is in designing and developing mathematical courses for
economists and in investigating the impact of Orlicz and Musielak-Orlicz spaces in financial mathematics.
