Rishita Nandagiri is a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Policy, the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her PhD research uses a mixed-methods approach to understand women's abortion and abortion-related decision-making in two districts in Karnataka, India. She holds an LSE PhD Studentship.

Rishita has over seven years of professional experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights policy and advocacy. She currently serves on the Board of the Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR), and volunteers with the Blank Noise Project.
