The role of trade in decarbonising global supply chains. This thesis aims to empirically evaluate embodied carbon in international trade, focusing on the heavy industrial sectors. It also aims to analyse embodied carbon flows from a supply chain perspective.

PhD research topic

  1. -EU Emissions Trading Scheme allocation rules and market design

  2. -Carbon pricing and impact on industrial competitiveness and carbon leakage

- Impact of carbon pricing on firms’ behaviour and innovation
