I am an environmental economist, though I am also interested in environmental science and philosophy. I work on climate change and sustainable development, and have recently rekindled an old interest in biodiversity. My research looks at decision-making under uncertainty, questions of equity/social justice within and between generations, the links between economic growth and the environment, and international environmental agreements.
