Lent Term
It is quite normal to find Lent term stressful as course material becomes more difficult and exams loom. Below are a few services and sources of advice that you may find useful. Don't forget that there is also a sub-warden on each floor at Bankside - we're all LSE students and have experience of LSE Exams. One of us is also on duty every night and over the weekend for urgent matters.
Also, if you have any concerns about other students please let us know (in confidence) and we'll do our very best to help.

The teaching and Learning Centre Seminars are a great source of advice, in particular the following courses may be worth considering More details, including specific postgraduate courses are available on the Teaching and Learning centre website.
SS116: Exams III: Using Past Exam Papers - Wednesday 9th March

SS115: Quantitative Exam Preparation - Wednesday 16th March
SS133: Exams: Revise and De-stress - Wednesday 4th May

If you have not yet done so, it is vital that you register with a GP as soon as possible. This will both save you time and hassle if you fall ill and makes life much easier if you require mitigation because of illness during your exams.

The Local Area

Works affecting Borough High Street
Thames Water and Southern Gas Networks will be undertaking works on Borough High Street until the end of March. The works will be taking pace at the junction of Borough High Street and St. Thomas' Street and will result in some disruption.

We have a Tesco!
After many years the Bankside area now has a Tesco Express which is ideal for grocery shopping. The store is located on Great Suffolk Street, just underneath the new Unite Hall of Residence. To get there leave the building and head west along Sumner Street, follow Sumner Street to the traffic lights, cross Southwark Street and Tesco is on your left.
