Residence Fees |
Residence fees are due by 5pm on Friday 13th May
An invoice
has been posted under your door which contains full details of your fees
and how to pay. If you have not recieved your invoice or have any problems
with
paying your fees please be sure to contact Fabio Valencia (f.o.valencia@lse.ac.uk)
or Seema Adia (s.adia@lse.ac.uk) in advance of the
deadline. Late payment will incur a charge of £5 per week.

Housekeeping |
Showerhead Cleaning - Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May
The monthly statutory showerhead clean will take place on 7th and 8th
May on all floors except the 2nd (where the showerheads will have just
been replaced). As always you do not need to be present in your room whilst this work
takes place and it should take only a few minutes
Routine Pest Control Visit -
Tuesday 10th May - 7th Floor.
Our pest control contractors will
undertaking routine checks on the 7th Floor on Tuesday 10th May.
This is purely routine and part of our on-going preventative pest
control measures.
Bathroom checks -
week commencing 16th May.
Rooms will be checked during the week
commencing the 16th May. If you bathroom is found to be in an
unacceptable condition you will be immediately charged £30 and
housekeeping will be sent to clean your bathroom. There will be
no option to clean the bathroom yourself after the inspections.
Please remember that bathroom cleaning services are available
through reception - they will clean your bathroom for £11.40.
Following this set of checks rooms will be checked every two weeks
until the end of term.

Tea and Coffee Festival
- Southbank Centre - 6th - 8th May
Timeout describe this as "a festival
devoted to tea and coffee, with demonstrations, tastings and talks led by
coffee roasters and tea masters". There is also an opportunity to try tea
and coffee cocktails, buy beans, leave and tea and coffee based foodstuffs

Covent
Garden May Fayre - Sunday 8th May 10.30am to 5.30pm
The Covent Garden May Fayre is an annual
festival celebrating the art of puppetry. It is held in St. Paul's (the
Actor's Church) Churchyard just off the main Covent Garden Piazza. The event
is led by Punch and Judy professors from around the country includes a
procession, puppet shows, workshops, music, maypole dancing and clowns. For
