Background
I am a PhD candidate in the Information Systems and Innovation Group, Department of Management, at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I hold a BA in Philosophy from the George Washington University, and an MSc in New Media, Information and Society from the LSE.
Research interests
Biometrics, critical innovation studies, identity assurance and identity management, intellectual property, philosophy of technology, surveillance studies, science and technology studies, technology policy, public understanding of technology
Consulting work
Aside from my academic pursuits, I have held management consulting roles at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) and ITV Consumer (Emerging Technologies). I am currently working with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), helping to draft a report following the Acacia Research and Learning Forum 2009 in Dakar, Senegal. The report explores IDRC's impact on the African information society.
