Its natural to miss home and your family while you are at Bankside. So make sure you litter your room with pictures, memorabilia, and items to remind you of home.

It may help to socialize with other people from your home country, so if you need help contacting your nationals around Bankside, please let the Bankside Committee know. LSE also offers a wide variety of cultural societies for you to get involved in, so keep a look out for your country’s society during Fresher’s Fair!

Make sure you call home regularly; it helps more than you could possibly imagine to hear familiar voices. Get Skype so you can do it for free!
