I am currently taking up a research post at the London School of Economics - London Multimedia Lab (LSE-LML). In my role as the English Country coach on the CADIC project, I work closely with leading scholars and international consultants within the European FT7 Framework on the construct of an infrastructure for growing and multiplying open and extensible clusters of enterprises. Prior to this post, I worked on the InCaS project within the European FP6 Framework and was involved in the design of InCapedia - a web-based device with a purport to explore the opportunities for business and value growth. My research interests lie in the areas of knowledge/intellectual capital management, organisational change and innovation, and the social psychology of learning and communication. My PhD thesis, entitled "Facilitating organisational change and innovation: activating Intellectual Capital within a learning paradigm", engaged with the promise of intellectual capital practice and reassessed the possibility of working with a learning paradigm for the purpose of facilitating change and innovation in European small and medium sized enterprises. I completed a BSc and an MSc in Business Administration from the School of Business, Renmin University of China, and then obtained an MSc (research) in Organizational and Social Psychology from the Institute of Social Psychology, London School of Economics. Within the LSE - LML, I coordinate several cultural exchange programmes between Beijing and London.
