About Me
I am currently a final year PhD student in the Data Science group of the LSE Statistics Department. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Milan Vojnovic and supported by the Lee Family Scholarship. I am also working with Prof. Wei Chen at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA). It was my honor to join MSRA as a research intern in the summer of year 2021. Before my PhD, I spent my undergraduate at St John's College of the University of Oxford and received a master's degree in mathematics and statistics in 2018.
Research Interests
My research focuses on relational learning, i.e., learning in a context where we have a set of items with relationships. I am interested in the underlying statistical inference, optimization, approximation and learning problems. This includes learning individual abilities, approximating group performances and making best set selections, where the main challenges are from limited feedback and various uncertainties. I also have a broad interest in representation learning and related real-life applications. For more information on my research projects, see my research here.
