Activities & Interests
Current
My
PhD and most of my research activities are funded by the EnCoRe Project
- a UK research project that is partially funded by the UK
Government’s Technology Strategy Board, Economic &
Social Research Council and Engineering & Physical Sciences
Research Council.
Topics
of interest include privacy, policies, digital identities, personal data management and
data quality.
Past
I
hold a Mphil in Sociolinguistics from Università degli Studi
di Pavia (Italy) and have almost 10 years experience as freelance
consultant and researcher. As a consultant I have been worked mainly
with CA (TrustItalia/Verisign), EU institutions and Banks.
As a researcher I have been working on a EU funded project EIAO -
European Internet Accessibility Observatory - and with various European
institutions.
Past research and professional interests included: e-inclusion
strategies and technologies, HCI, usability, accessibility,
disabilities and assistive technologies, e-government and e-democracy
initiatives.
