I am an economist by training, with a passion for exploration and broad interests spanning environmental and human well-being.

My research covers land use and deforestation, trade and development, urban well-being & noise pollution, and applied econometrics.

A little about me

An enthusiasm for travel and learning new things

I grew up in Palo Alto, California and Madison, Wisconsin, and have lived in Venezuela, Thailand, Costa Rica and the UK, with extended stints in Brazil, Bolivia, Germany and Norway, plus countless shorter trips - the more adventurous the better. Now based in London, I am privileged to work with an interdisciplinary group of colleagues and to continually learn from the international MSc and PhD students at LSE.
