The Warden's Team |
Guests in Kitchens
The wardens team have a policy that
combines flexibility and clarity:
1) Occasional guests are acceptable. Regular visitors are not
because this takes up space for kitchen users.
2) Very occasional (up to once a term) larger gatherings are
acceptable providing the user notifies other users as least the day
before by putting a notice on the kitchen door.
3) Residents - even those with keys to other kitchens - are not
allowed to use other's kitchens on a regular basis. If you have a
few friends eating in your kitchen a couple of times a week every
week this very quickly begins to inconvenience other users.
4) There is nothing stopping people from cooking in a kitchen and
then using the lounges as a place to eat.
Occasional guests are welcome, large gatherings or repeat
visitors are not acceptable as they inconvenience other kitchen
users.
