My research focuses on three themes. One is sustainable finance, with a particular emphasis on green bonds and venture capital/private equity. Another is the policy and other determinants governing the spatial diffusion of environmentally-oriented technologies and organisational practices. And third, my research is concerned with emerging economies, and their ability to leverage their latecomer advantage in order to follow less environmentally-damaging development pathways.
