Hey, I'm Domenico, and this is an informal reference page for the course MA423.

I prepared a guide for our first year students. Even if it was meant for first year students, I think you might find in it some interesting parts. I am more than happy to hear feedback, and I am open to suggestions about additional material.

The real reason I had to create this page is to share the notes for Class 5.

If you want to learn more about similar contents and much more, some wonderful references are:

You might need to surf a while to find a course that interests you, but the quality of the material is really impressive, as much as the variety of the content.

I'd like to remind to foreign students that in the UK the access to many file-sharing websites dedicated to the spread of academics journals and scientific books, such as LibGen, Sci-hub (of which there exists also the Telegram bot: @scihubot), is restricted and illegal. Among these restrictions, the fact that it is not possible to access these websites from most common browser (with the exception perhaps of Opera on VPN mode). The access to this almost infinite array of free resources, many of which not available anymore in other formats, is therefore not suggested.
