I am currently a PhD candidate at the Department of International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
I have spent the last five years studying human agency and dynamics within formal and informal organisations (private companies and local communities), using qualitative and quantitative research methods. My current research and consultancy interests lie in state building and reform, change and social accountability in the public sector of developing countries, with a particular (but not exclusive) interest in the use of performance measurement and management systems.
