Biography

I joined the Government Department in September 2002, from the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR). I was previously Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. I have continued my involvement with CARR and am currently acting as Deputy Director.

I am the UK Editor of  Public Administration. I was Reviews Editor for West European Politics from 2000-2010.

I am the chair of the specialist group on Executive Politics and Governance, a specialist group under the umbrella of the UK Political Studies Association.
